IMac A1224 2008
Mi iMac from 2008 won't fully turn on. It starts with an Apple logo and a bar below, but turns off in 45 seconds. Does anyone have a clue about what to do? Thx. Srdjan

Try starting up in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift key on startup. If this works, trying starting up from your original system installation disk. Go to the second page of the installation, when the pull down menu appears, go to Utilities > Disk Utility and run it.
