1 Everything works except digitizer after screen replacement.
I needed to just replace the charging port, I replaced it and the phones charges now. But then the digitizer didn't work so I ordered a new screen (LCD plus Digitizer) installed it and it doesn't work.
I have fixed a lot of iPhones, iPads and some samsung phones, so I'm not that new to this. I have searched a lot and can't find much more than the 2 first posts that come up on google.
Does any of you know how to fix this issue. I was replacing the charging port so that I could get some photos from the phone. The phone is password protected is there any way I could get the info out of the phone with my laptop?

You should always test before you install the screen to avoid wasting time with faulty / defective parts which also causes warranty issues because some sellers void warranty if replacement part was installed.
Anyway sounds like digitizer ribbon cable got damaged / faulty part / connector for digitizer for damaged / not plugged in fully.
Charging port is fairly simple, don't really know how you made the digitizer not work after replacing the charging port.
