"SD-Card Error" when sd-card completely ok. Change sd-slot?

Hi,

my GoPro shows sd-error on screen, altought I tried to format it in the GoPro and tried many cards which are working in other GoPro cameras.

When I try to format it in the gopro and look then at the sd-card on the pc, the files are still there..

Could the problem be in the sd-card reader? Would a change of the sd-card slot solve my problem?

Yes, it might be the SD card reader or the SD card slot. The SD card slot might have got jammed or blocked by dust particles also. You can try to clean it by blowing air into it or with some folded paper to solve the issue.

i tried everything untill the point where i bought an expansion slot from ifixit and it still doesnt work
