Stuck on Green Light of Death and my power button doesn't work.

I managed to find out another way to turn on my PS3 but then I'm stuck not being able to connect to the TV even though I'm using the proper cables. All solutions I looked up require me to hold down on the power button, but the Power Button doesn't respond when I click it. Please help!
