Why won't my g priv turn on

Mine won’t turn on but when I close the battery door it does a quick flash of green but it won’t turn on or anything after that how do I fix it?

I just bought mine today, charged it up, used it a few times throughout the day, turned the vape off, went to use it again 2-3hours later and NOTHING.. it won't turn on, I see no notification of any lights, I checked the batteries & charged them, at 100% and the device still won't turn on.. I'm confused on why it would suddenly stop working & for what reason?

Mines won’t turn on at all charge battery and then bought a battery charger still nothing lights will come once I put it on the charger but after that nothing

Same, SMOK &&^&^$^ SUCKS!!!! CHEAP ASS POS MADE BY CHINESE KIDS FOR 10 CENT AND CHARGE US 75$ FOR IT. I HOPE SMOK GOES BANKRUPT THEY ARE A $@$*!& COMPANY. DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS UNLESS YOU LIKE THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY.

I've had the same problem numerous times with my g-priv ProPod. Think I've finally found a fix. I removed the battery and put it on charge, I was surprised to see the screen still on. But then I just unplugged it and reinsert the battery and its been OK for the day so far. Probably not recommended by the makers but if you've tried everything else here maybe this will work for you too.

I purchased the H Priv 2 about a month ago. The first one worked about a week and the screen died. It would fire, but no screen, it wasn't in stealth mode. The company I purchased it from replaced it. So great, grabbed new, freshly charged batteries, popped them in, vaped on and off for about 3 days. One day, it just wouldn't turn on. Doubled check batteries in another mode, fine. Bought new batteries, charged them (I always charge externally) and still nothing. I'm so irritated! I contacted the company and demanded a refund. I will never buy another smok product!

Thank Craig, Followed your advise and it worked, the only thing I would add to your advise is that when you remove the batteries and press the big and the small buttons at the same time, keep them pressed while you re inserting the batteries, thn when you finish re inserting the battery then press 5 times.

Yes remove the batteries wait at least a minute. Make sure the batteries are fully charged hold both buttons, reinsert the batteries and if needed hit the fire key 5 times for restart. Viola!? Has worked for me in the past, must be the way to reset.

There is obviously something wrong with the priv. I am getting the same issue. Mine is 2 months old. Not been dropped. Smok is definitely crap. I am moving on to something else. And you should too

I had similar issues and had to push in the bottom (I think it gets loose if you drop) when pressing the 5 times. Has stayed on since.

Try checking if it charges when the battery door is open slightly. Hold the door shut with barely any pressure used a rubber bracelet like anti drug businesses and other places give out and it worked perfect lol maybe use a old school I <3 B××bies bracelet for some style all jokes aside i think the metal hinge inside needs tweaked a bit that or the metal connections on each end the battery need tweaked for less pressure so the batteries arent pushing against the got dang doorflap... P.s when u close the doorflap slide the sliding lock/release all the way locked so that doesnt start to happen in the first place

Just bought my G-PRIV4 it will not cut on it shows it’s charging but won’t cut on what to do

My G-Priv would not power up, even after pressing button 5 times and fresh batteries.

I took a cotton swap with alcohol and cleaned the contacts of the G-Priv battery compartment. I even cleaned off both ends of each battery.

That did the trick. Works fine now.
