2 Why is my sound system shutting off?
Hello, i got this powered subwoofer at a pawnshop and supposly its was one of those white van scams. Well i got at a pawnshop for around 50$ and it was pretty good !
It has 1500 Total watts, it sounds pretty good for a kind of small subwoofer.
The real question is that i was having a problem turning it on so i saw a video on youtube fixing another receiver. I was told to heat up the board, so i did and it pretty much turned on ! But when i play it at a kinda of high volume for some time it shuts off and wont turn back on. So basically i have to wait till it kinda cools off and heat it up again.
I heat it up with a blow drier directly to a long ish chip that is around 3 inches long and 1 inch wide.
If anyone has some suggestions please comment, thanks !

Right below the sub woofers magnet is the chip that i was talking about !

@a_f_yt_not sure what you are heating up. Post some images of your boards etc. with your question so we can see what you see. Use this guide 기존 질문에 이미지 추가하기 for that
If it is part of the White Van scam you know that you have issues with inferior parts and schematics will be useless.
