Can I print from an iPad?
The iPad tells me that no Air Print printer can be found. Is there any way to print to an XP-245 from an iPad please?

The problem is that the XP-245 is not equipped to use Apple Air Print. I found that the Epson app enabled me to print photos but that was it. I then found Epson Connect where I could give my printer an email address and send documents to it. I haven't fully explored this feature but it does work, after a fashion.

You can use Epson iPrint, which doesn't require external email addresses.

Make sure that your printer is powered on and connected to the same WiFi network as your iPad. Then look for the printer on the iPad. If that doesn't work, turn both off then back on again and repeat the first actions. If that continues to not work and you need a quick fix, check to see if your printer has an email that you can use to print.

You don't need airprint, as long as the Epson supports Wi-Fi or is on the same network you are on.
Download the "Epson iPrint" utility, and you can print PDFs, Web Pages, or photos directly from this app.

Unfortunately Epson Print only applies for Ios9 and above. My IPad will not update past Ios8.
@finney144 see if this procedure works to download an older version of the Epson iPrint. There has not been any new features introduced, just more printer support. You may get lucky and an older version will exist and you can print with it.

I have the same problem, and i dunno if my printer is connected to the network because there is no screen on it only buttons.i have no idea how to connect the printer first to internet. Before i had printer without wifi, i had to send the docs from my iPad to the laptop to be able to print. I bought this epson, as written it works with wifi, but it is !#^&^$^ me off...

Sorry Joe but I can't help you. I got a mate who is an expert to set up the thing. If you can get it going it is a good printer much improved on my last Epson. Good luck.

Hi I found that Epson XP245 is not registered on the Apple Air print website.
I had the same problem was connected to my WFII network. Printed from Epson connect but would not print from a Apple Air Print. Could not find an answer.
