The switch is bent. How should it be bent?
I have the very same problem. The switch is bent. How should it be bent? Should the end of the paper clip touch something when the ad is inserted? No matter how I bend it, it keeps saying the ad is write protected.
Best option would be to it not check the gap at all anymore, but I don't think that is possible?

The switch should be bent inward towards the card. When the card is inserted the metal tab of the switch will fit into the notch on the card. When in this position it knows the card is not write protected. When the metal switch is bent it does not go into the notch and therefore it thinks the lock or write protect is turned on for the SD card.
PS: you need to be very gentle when inserting anything into the SD slot and especially when trying to bend the switch out.
