Switch keeps blowing radio fuse in 2002 Toyota Camry

I have a 2002 Toyota Camry and I just installed a new amp with speakers. I connected my remote turn on wire for my amp to a constant 12v (the yellow wire from my head unit) and it works fine. then installed a three prong switch from the radio into were the load should go, grounded and then the third prong goes to amp but the radio fuse blows everytime I turn the car on. What have I done wrong?

@zeek96 we need to know how you connected it and where to you did connect it. It will also help if you let us know what Amp this is etc. Not sure about your three pronged switch as well.

@oldturkey03 I had one prong connected to the continouous 12v from the back of my radio, on prong gorunded and one prong connected to the remote turn on going into my amp. My amp is a pioneer Gm-6100f. I'm thinking of making a new 12v out of the fuse box. I think the problem is the 12v I was using might of been used by something else, and my switch works with up to 12v 30a
