When I power up the iMac the power light on the front comes on. I can hear teh DVD drive spinning up as well as the hard drive. The screen remains blank. How do I diagnose whether this is a video board, logic board or display issue? What are my replacement options on each of the above items.

Try seeing if you can run the Apple Hardware Test. You can also try connecting to an external display, booting in target disk mode, and booting from the install disk.

Which Model do you have? What is the model number, this will be on the back, or on the bottem, and will be like A**** or M****
