Air conditioning doesn't work when car is not accelerating.

My Nissan Xterra 2004 air conditioning gives cool air only when the car is accelerating. When in place it give a warm air.

What could be the problem?

Likely related to a bad fan clutch. $35 from any auto parts store. You can also confirm this as the xterra my overheat when idling.
