Why won't my phone charge?

About 2 months ago I dropped my phone and it cracked the upper right part of my screen. Ever since I dropped it that one day my phone has not be charging right. I've tried adjusting the charger in the port to get it to charge and that worked, but recently it hasn't been charging or has been losing battery percentage while charging. Not even tilting the charger has helped. Please any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
