VHS-DVD player sticks part way through DVD

The DVD side of VHS-DVD combo player stops anywhere from 1/3 to 1/2 way through DVD. VHS side works great. Have tried compressed air. Have tried DVD cleaning disc. Still not working correctly. Can you repair?

@americanoutlaws what make and model and how does it stop? Does it freeze or does it turn off? Have you tried commercial DVD's or burned DVD's All the same?

Panasonic PV-D4742. They stop and freeze only. My DVD's are all commercial movies I have purchased from reliable sources. The VHS side works just fine.
