Why can't I get pass verifying google account?

I just got the tablet yesterday and it keeps making me type in my google account email and password over and over again. I can't get past that screen. I factory reset it and it still isn't working.

You may need to verify the sign in on a new device, check your email for a email from google. follow instructions in the email
