LCD touching Digitizer causing weird bubble effect

Hello

I have seen other posts about this across the website, but for some reason the issue is still persisting.

I bought a LCD to replace my damaged LCD, but the digitiser seems to be touching the LCD and creating a weird bubble effect under the digitiser.

I have taken off the film over the front of the LCD. I have checked behind the LCD to see if any dirt or anything is stuck behind it, and also the metal plate also, but nothing is there.

I have used 3m tape around the entire device also but still there.

Any ideas?

Debris is the most common reason, however, sometimes it is something else.

when i get this, i usually double layer my double sided adhesive, it gives it just that little extra bit of room between the parts. (occasionally i need three.)

however, i have also had it where the battey was bloating a little bit, causing pressure to push up. that needed to be replaced.

Thanks for your response, I've tried adding an extra layer of 3m tape and that has fixed it temporarily. The screens aren't touching now but now the screen protrudes slightly from its frame, Its no longer flush

yes. in situations like this, you do usually have to choose between one of thos two. I choose the protrusions, because it does not effect the viewing area, and most people use a case that covers that. Likely, either the part was made a couple nanometers too thick, or the frame has the slightest of warps in it.
