When I plug in the farberware percolater the overload indicated on the

The percolater is fairly new. Nothing else in the area is drawing electricity. It has been working fine. All of a sudden, it triggers the overload on the plug.

You state that the percolator is fairly new.

How long have you had it?

From what I can gather Farberware offers a 2 year limited warranty on their percolators (in the USA and Canada)

I recommend that you verify that the warranty period is still valid for your percolator and contact Farberware about a warranty replacement.

This is from just one of the percolator User Guides (you didn't state the model number of your percolator):

TWO-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY (Applies only in the United States and Canada)

What does it cover?

• Any defect in material or workmanship provided; however, Spectrum Brands, Inc.’s liability will not exceed the purchase price of product.

For how long?

• Two years from the date of original purchase with proof of such purchase.

What will we do to help you?

• Provide you with a reasonably similar replacement product that is either new or factory refurbished.

How do you get service?

• Save your receipt as proof of date of sale.
