Will the phone boot (show Power Lights) if the digitizer is cracked?

I cracked the digitizer while replacing the glass, so I put the motherboard back on and tried to boot the phone...I get nothing. Should the control lights and the status light still come on?

Thanks for the reply, even though that was back in January :), But you are correct, I had also cut the small wire near the charging port during disassembly.
