Logic board compatibility btw the A1046 and the A1095
I have a PB G4 FW80015" 1.25 with a dead logic board. Is it possible to build in a logic board from the next generation which was 1.33 and 1.5?

Here are the modifications necessary:
- The logic board, of course!
- The right USB board has a different part number printed on it, but is physically identical. I can't comment on whether the other machine will accept the new one, though.
- The RJ-11 board has a slightly different connector
- The modem is different entirely
- The airport card cage has different cutouts, but is compatible
- The modem cable is different entirely
- The airport extreme cable has a different part number printed on it, but is physically identical. I can't comment on whether the other machine will accept the new one, though.
As far as cross-version upgrades, this seems to be one of the easier to perform. Please keep us posted!

It's an incredibly difficult repair/installation, but I do not believe the logic boards are compatible, the newer generation used a newer logic board I believe.

It IS a pretty difficult operation, but have worked quite a bit on the 12" models. They're packed pretty tightly as well.
The later 15" model seems very similar, and the logic boards seem to be easier to get where I am now, but not sure if all connections etc would be the same. Mactracker describes the 1.33 and 1.5 as 'largely speed bumps of existing product lines'.
Would appreciate any input.
