Smok mag 225 reads coil but says no atomizer when I hit the trigger
I recently dropped my smok mag 225 and busted the glass on the tank... After replacing the glass i screwed the tank back on and it asked me new coil or old coil... I selected old coil and the ohms read 41...but when i pulled the trigger to hit it the screen said atomizer short... I put a new coil in and same thing... It reads the ohms of the coil but now says no atomizer... What is the problem? Thanx for reading....

I have the same problem so I called my vape company and they said that it was not the mag and said the atomiser was but I tried my friends atomisers and the same problem but it works fine on my drag mod so I'm confused can somebody explain?

A number of things can happen anything from loose wires to soldering breaks inside the actual device by all means I'm no expert but basically you will have to {carefully take apart} your mod with a few hidden screws on the inside use your intuition and wits to try and get to the internal I got as far as the mod chip cover, I got nervous of going any further and just checked for- Broken wires, Broken scoter on the wires, anything else loose, and someone else mentioned something about the top piece, AKA where you screw in the atomizer, being loose enough to turn a 60 degrees or more.
Honestly most people that are do it yourselfers got good results just going into it and -carefully- taking it apart and soldering the whole thing themselves making sure nothing electronic was broken.
Btw I found the taking apart to be pretty easy, someone had a problem with the mag release screw, I believe if I'm not mistaken that that one screw and only that one has Loctite on it making it difficult to remove.
God bless!
