Replacing Joycon Battery With Higher Capacity One

I am currently inside my switch joycon doing an outside swap and the battery pops out pretty easily. Is it possible to put in a larger one in it's place. Thanks!

You probably could, no doubt it would void the warranty though. And beware of a third party battery you find, it might not be the best quality or safe.
