These drives won't fit any Macbook or Macbook Pro, these drives are 12.5MM and will not fit. 9.5MM is the size this PO needs.

I must of missed where the PO mentioned he had a unibody or a pre-unibody 17". I'll re-read the question 4 more times.

When I have time, I do answer the questions that I have knowledge of. Now, the problem is that you have turned this site into a point race where people aren't even given the correct or accurate answers to questions because everyone is in a race to answer and get points to feed their ego. I just read a question which a PO asked if a upgrade would cause overheating issues and you merely pointed him to the parts he needed but never addressed the overheating issue. At at the end of the question, the PO asked again, "how about the over-heating issue"..and didn't receive a response. Yet you received upvotes for that answer. That's just one example. I see this all the time!!!! Or you ask for the last 3 digits of the serial number, provide the product specs, but don't address the issue. Yet you receive an upvote for it. LOL it's actually comical.
