hey guys.
i did a screen repair on iphone 8+
after screen repair earspeaker + proximity sensor are not working.
the flex doesnt seem damaged and i tried puting it back to the original screen but still no solution.
anyone had the same problem ??

Unfortunately, the Front Camera flex cables on the 7s and 8s are very fragile. It is entirely possible you may have accidentally caused damage so small that it can only be seen with a microscope.
Really the only thing you can do next is try with a new flex cable and go from there.

Got a similar problem … first time… ordered a replacement camera and waiting for it.
I cannot see any problem under microscope thou - very strange.
I have done many screen replacements and never had a problem with any of them.
I sincerely hope that is the problem, but I doubt it.
I now wonder what it could be instead.
Any one?
