How to charge zte zmax pro z981 without a Type-C charger or wireless.

I just replaced the Digitizer & LCD screen assembly one my ZTE Zmax Pro Z981, when i realized....wait....i dont have a Type-C charger nor a wireless charger. I bought the phone from some chick last year for like $3.00 , she caught her man doin stupid stuff, killed the LCD display assembly and i got a really nice phone way cheap, and fixed it myself (with the trusty help from a great teardown/walk thru from the awesome folks here at ifixit.com). I have been searching "Google" from one side to the other, everyway to word "how to charge ZTE Zmax Pro Z981 without a type-c charger, or wireless charger, or even charger at all....people have some very interesting thoughts on "how to", but is there a way that really works? Even just for like 20-30 minutes. I ordered a charger, but my bright light bulb self didn't realize it was coming from Shangsomething China, and id like to power it up to make sure the repair went well until the next three weeks when Chinas snail mail arrives. If anyone can help, youd be blessed with my ZTEs soul forever...thanks.

Yea, but i wasnt really looking to putting anymore money into it. I ordered a charger from china, but that's still 3 to 4 weeks away. Was just hoping for a quick jump or something just to make sure the Digitizer and LCD display assembly went without any issues. Thank you

Can you get a USB-A to USB-C cable locally? You can then charge the Z981 with any standard USB charger, it'll take longer, but it'll still charge fine.

I have the same problem. I have replaced the original type c charger that came with the phone with another type c that is exactly the same from a ZTE Zmax Pro that I used to use until the glass broke. Few weeks later the cord at the end got frayed and I got a replacement part that plugs into the wall but I didn't have the 20$ to buy a new charger from Metro PCS . So I tried one of those adapters they sell at the Dollar Tree. It had worked for about a month and then it would be hit or miss. I realized it depended on which standard USB I used. If it was old and the pins were flat it wouldn't work or if I plugged it into the wall with the old white plug that came with my phone. I got a real good wall plug and decent USB and I use those. I don't unplug the adapter from my phone constantly like I did when I first got it. The only problem I have is if I use an extension cord or a power strip. It charges but doesn't keep the charge. That happens with every charger tho. Go to the dollar store grab a couple of those adapters. I found they r the same as the ones they send from China that u buy online but they charge more and it takes a month.
