My 3ds x isn't charging

So I don't have a back plate on my 3ds x and so the battery is taped on to the ds's back but it still won't charge but it will when I move it a little but then it will immediately stop charging and turn off,is there a good reason why

옵션

The reason why it is having trouble charging is because that back plate is missing. Even if you have it taped on, the connection still may be loose. It also is more susceptible to shorting out due to poor connections. I would recommend looking into seeing if you can find a replacement black plate!
