Lorraine Franco okay so you tried to partition your drive and it did not work. Now what are the issues with your computer? what have you tried? why were you foing to set an active partition? What model is your computer?

Doing anything with a partition is a very risky business -- you can delete everything if you make a mistake. Did you do a backup before trying this?

You may have no choice but to do a factory restore.
