Bluetooth phone calls issue after replacing the battery

I replaced my iPhone 5s battery, everything worked ok after the replacement except for Bluetooth phone calls . microphone is working without Bluetooth connected. as soon as I connect my AirPods no sound on calls. Checked AirPods on other phones worked. I am pretty sure it is a hardware issue. can anyone please tell me what should I do and how can I fix that.
