Touchscreen unresponsive when replacing with genuine apple screen
Hi
I have replaced my screen multiple times on my iPhone 6s with varying quality of after market screens.
This time I managed to get an original apple one, but when I fitted it the touch screen didn't work at all. Everything else was fine. Went through all the normal checks over the pins etc and found no issue so concluded it must be a dodgy screen. Contacted the seller and they sent me another, same issue, the seller has lots of great feedback from others and are really responsive and happy to replace/refund so i'm starting to think there may be something else going on here.
I know there where lots of issues with after market screens and iOS 11 I had a cheep after market screen on through all those upgrades and didn't have any issues. But am now having the touch issue when trying to install an original screen.
Does anyone have any insight on this, could the 'Fix' apple put in for aftermarket screens some how have made it brake when switching back to an original? Unlikely I know but just a thought.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
FYI when I put my cheep after market screen back it all works perfectly.
Thanks!
Update (07/03/2018)
UPDATE: I have managed to prove there is nothing wrong with the screens I have been trying to install. I managed to borrow another phone and installed one of the replacements in this and it all worked perfectly.
Some how my phone is in a strange state where the only screen it will work with is with a cheep replacement that is broken. I don't understand this at all it makes no sense!
If anyone can shed any light it would be most appreciated.
