I purchased my camera a few months ago and it was working fine, upon my recent use it has stopped working. If I pop out the lens all the orange lights flash, and when I try to take a photo, it makes a weird noise and nothing happens. I have also noticed that next to the viewfinder a red light is on. I have tried replacing the batteries, if that is part of the problem. Please Help!

Exactly the same. I had it sitting on the shelf for a year. It had fresh batteries in it that I put in a year ago and I took 20 pictures. It was in a cool dry place for the 11 months it was sitting. I took out the old empty cartridge, put in a brand new film cartridge, turned it on. When I pushed the button to take a picture, all the little orange lights flashed. No picture. I tried double checking to see if the film was put it wrong. No, it is put in perfectly--yellow bars lined up perfectly. WHAT IS GOING ON????!
