My phone freezes on incoming & outgoing calls

Just got off the phone with google and fixed my phone. these are the steps

settings

apps and notifications

clear cache and storage

uninstall updates

play store

my apps and games

download update for the phone

worked for me after that hope this helped

I have cleared cache memory, and data for phone app. Now uninstalled app to the most primitive diaper app from Google and then updated again. Today on 18-jan 2019. Hope this fixed issue.

You might be testing a beta app. Try removing yourself from beta testing and get the public release version. Hopefully this works!!

Hello guys I am Samiha just update your phone and your problem solved

Go to Settings -> Apps & Notifications -> Advanced -> Permission Manager -> Telephone

Deny all apps for this permission only allowed Phone app.

After this restart and check your phone will work again as it was working before.

There is some issue with telephone permission when given to other apps. So whenever any apps ask for permission deny it or if it dont work without permission then allow it for a while till you want the app to work and then deny/disallow telephone permission for that app.

Whenever you see problem go to same option as mentioned above you will see some other app too have telephone permission which you have to remove and then it will start working again.

I had this problem too but i was able to fix it. At least temporarily. Just follow these simple steps and let us know if it works for you or not:

1. Go to Settings > Apps & Notifications > Phone
2. Clear the Phone cache and storage
3. Go to PlayStore and search for the Google Phone app.
4. Click on un-install. This will uninstall the updates for this app.
5. Restart your phone
