Have you tried talking to Nvidia support? Not all Android based devices can be upgraded.

well the short answer is No , this tablet latest update is Android 7.0 and Android 8 is 1 year old so if Nvidia wanted to upgrade it to Android 8 they would do it along time ago and do not root your device in order to upgrade it, it is very danger
