SScreen black/red streak cannot take photo
When attempting to take a picture the screen is black w/ red streak running through it. Cannot focus on item Iam trying to take photo of.. Does not show on screen

sounds like the ccd has gone.. this is the part that captures the image (the digital equivalent of the negative/film)so if the camera can't "see" the image you will be unable to focus. look for a camera listed as spares or repairs/faulty on ebay and take the part.. or you could google for online shops selling spares.Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1 Troubleshooting Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T1 CCD Sensor Module Replacement
