My 6s plus’s charging port no longer works, i have a spare parts iphone 6s, are they interchangeable? is it possible for me to swap them over and it to work?

Edit: You cannot use a 6s charging port in place of a 6s plus or vice versa on either phones.
Before replacing the port, do you need to wiggle it to charge and does the charging cable tip go in fully without a gap?
Sometimes the charging socket just needs to be cleaned because it's common for them to get clogged up with dust and lint over time.
Yep but need to be careful of the antenna cables and adhesive under the charger port when transferring from one phone to another.

Thanks! yep i've already cleaned the charging port out, and wiggling the cable around side the port doesn't allow to charge out, do you know if i can use my iphone 6s charging port and put it into my 6s plus?
Oh sorry about that, I misread the question. No unfortunately the charging port from the 6s plus and non plus are different in size.
@brandonsmith94 Are you sure it's about the charging port ? They don't go bad that easily and If the phone was used with some infamous uncertified charger it might as well be a logic board issue. If you can, before replacing the part, check if power reaches the logic board.
