Hi,
I have an HP probook 6475b with a broken screen and want to power it up, however when I plug it in, the charging light constantly blinks orange and when I press the power button, it blinks white 11 times. I am using a Dell power supply instead of a genuine HP one.
Any help appreciated

Dell power supplies (charger) isn’t quite compatible with the HP chargers. Try a genuine HP charger or one with the proper size.

Yep thanks. After a bit of research I found out that there is a difference between HP power adapters and other ones which makes the laptop think it isn't powerful enough so won't charge. I'll either try applying a voltage to the inner pin or source an HP charger from somewhere. Thank you for confirming my suspicions!
