Hi I changed the housing on an iPhone 8 and the metal bracket around the charging port wasn’t present on the new housing. I tried to remove it from the original and it was hard to remove and bent quite a bit.
Is it possible to buy new brackets and replace or can these not be replaced?
This is an example of one but for an iPhone 6….

@chrisinuk Phooey! I don't think you can buy that particular part for your model iPhone. If I were you I would try my best to make do with your existing bracket. Sorry I couldn't help!

This is way old but I came across the same problem, it came with the part, but not installed. It’s one of these

Just glue it with some 800 glue or superglue. That’s what I ended up doing.
