Can I Install a Samsung 970 EVO 1TB on my MBP 15" from 2014?

HI I own a MBP retina display from 2014 SSD model SM0512F, I have been looking on the web to see if possible to upgrade th SSD to the Samsung 970 EVO 2TB, but not sure if this will work and if i will notice any speed improvement?

I will really appreciate any help here!!!

Sorry mate the Samsung M.2 SSD is not compatible with your system. You’ll need either a compatible 3rd party drive from either OWC or Transcend, Or, get the Apple drive from this source: BeetsTech

Thanks for your reply, I read somewhere the there is a connector symatech or something like that can be this use to make incompatible hardware compatible?

You expecting something that is not possible as your system (reference the guide I pointed you to) is a PCIe 2.x based interface (AHCI/PCIe) {Guide - Gen3} where your Samsung 970 EVO SSD is a PCIe 3.x (NVMe/PCIe).

I don't recommend these adapters. Just the other week I had to remove the adapter & SSD someone had installed in both a MacBook Pro & iMac. They just are not that reliable.

I fully understand you want a cheap solution! Sometimes you end up making things worse and in the long run more expensive!
