2006 Kia Sorento Check engine light/engine shut off while driving

Check engine light came on while I was driving and immediately shut off the engine. We had a code Po454, replaced the Purge valve. We now have no codes, but the engine won’t run.  If it starts, it shuts down pretty quick. We have also tightened the gas cap.
