Screw left in phone after screen replacement
So, I went thru this very detailed (excellent video) on iphone 6s screen replacement and did nearly everything right - almost. Somehow a screw got left in the phone and I closed it up. Then I noticed the right lower corner near home button isn’t flush with the body. So I opened it up again the next day, and found a heat shield screw standing vertically on it’s head on the battery. It left a visible head imprint on the battery cover, but other than that the battery seems intact, no cracks, no tears, no exposed metal.
My question is, is it safe to continue using the phone, especially with the the little gap in the phone body? Can I just put a drop of epoxy on the battery cover to make sure it’s intact? Can I fix the LCD cover not aligning? I imagine, the screw must have caused some warp, because I can’t imagine that much space between the battery and the heat shield.
Thank you very much!

Have you tried reseating screen in place after removing the stray screw ? Chances are the screw was the reason for the gap..

Indeed, I have tried, but still a misalignment, altho smaller. The screw might have warped the case, or BeeFix LCD screen kit has a defect. Visually, I don't see any warp on either the phone body or the LCD cover.

@vijay001 I've seen some seriously warped iphones where people sat forgetting they had them in their pockets and original screen got back to normal afterwards, hence my question. Anything can happen in life but I find it a bit strange a single small screw damaged the screen. If with Beefix you mean a third party or aftermaket screen, then it might be a production issue and you can't really fix that.

Remember, the screw, measuring at perhaps 3mm, stood on it's head between the battery and LCD thermal plate. I don't think there's that much spare space in the thickness of the iphone 6S
