I accidentally spilled some soda on my power plug with my PS3 plugged in. No lights are coming on anymore. Obviously the power supply "fried" and I want to know what components would've fried, and how I would go on to fix it?

Ricky Bobbie, those are very difficult questions to answer. My first suggestion would be to open it up and to take a look always remember that it is tough to say what is non-functional until you take a look at it. It would just be a guess. So take it apart and take a look at it. If you are not sure what to do let us know what you find once it is apart. If you are not well versed in repairing power supplies or any other equipment that may require soldering, I do recommend that you either give it to someone who can do it for you. A new/rebuild one is also not to expensive. Best of luck to you and let us know how it is going.

Ok, I've opened it and hopefully, if I'm right, it's only the fuse that went out. I'll give an update soon!

Update: Ok, so it wasn't a fuse that was blown. All fuses are still intact. However, we did find two transistors on the one metal heat sink that were shorted out. Hopefully everything works after we replace those.
