Kenwood ddx392 excelon screen appears black but everything still works

Kenwood ddx 392 screen appears black but everything still works. At night the screan is barely visible but everything is still there. As mentioned everything including the sub & amp still work. The touch still works it’s like there’s no backlight to brighten the screen. Any troubleshooting outside of the manufactures recommendations or know fixes would be appreciated.
