none of my polaroid snaps are developing!?!

i got a new polaroid for Christmas, i have taken a few photos and done what my friend (who has a polaroid) said to make it develop. it has been around two hours but it is still not showing the printer ! i am trying to research how to fix it or what could be wrong, so if anyone can help i will be SOOO grateful! thank you, merry christmas
