My MacBook Air won’t turn on at all. I was using it when all of a sudden the screen went snowy and cut out, I’m thinking it could have been a power surge. Would just like some guidance on what to do?

From the sounds of it I suspect your logic board is gone. The snow you saw was the graphics engine dying (which is part of the CPU in this model).
