58l1350uc TV, backlight comes on for 1 second then goes out.

So the backlight goes out within a second of powering up. I have images on the screen with a flashlight test. I have 120v to each led strip (there are 5). So I'm not sure what's causing the LEDs to kick out right away. Even when the LEDs are off but tv is on I have 120 v at the LEDs. I'm a bit confused thank for your help in advance.

first imagine is of an led in the middle and the second image is the end where the +loops through the LEDs. To me it looks like there is only + that runs through the strip? Even tho there is a + and - wires but they are connected as one on the board?

Good article on LED backlight version.

If it's a CCFL, the inverter is failing. Look / test for bad capacitors. So common there are sources of cap kits by make & model.

Thank you for that article @salmonjapan I didn't think the check the strips, is diode mode on the meter the same as continuity? I tried the test each led like in that video but can't figure out where the put the leads. As the + runs all the way down the strip without a break and loops back through the last led? Does that make sence? I will post picture when I get home. I appreciate your help
