How to reset safe mode password?

I’m buying a MacBook that requests a password when entering on safe mode, but the password that was informed doesn’t work.

There is no password in normal logon, I just click in user and it enters normally.

Can someone help me? Is there a way to reset this password and reset this MacBook?

It’s not stolen. I know the person.

She send it to a assistence and the guy from the place informed her the wrong password.

So you now have the correct password??

Your system is just setup not to require a password when you use the default account. Which is why you need it under Safe Mode
