Why does it agitate on fill and only fast on other settings
why does it begin agitating on fill, and agitates fast on on settings?

This is either the water level auto sensing switch, a clogged water level tube or a timer issue. My bet is on the switch. Please give us your exact model number so i can get you to the correct part.
