No backlight, image is there, looking for backlight fuse and driver
Today my MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Mid 2014) with a 3.0 GHz logic board
Started flickering. I restarted it, and when it turned back on there was no backlight. I can see an image when I shine a light through the screen from the backside Apple logo.
1.5 years ago it was repaired also due to no backlight, and during that repair some “IC components” was replaced on the logic board. It seems to me that it is the same problem I’m having today.
I have the following questions:
- Is there any way to fix this without buying a new logic board, and if so can i do it my self?
- Where is the fuse/driver located on the logic board?
- Is there any guide as to test which part of the logic board that is not working
Thanks in advance!
