Why is the ps4 not registering that a disc is in it?

We put in a disc and it does say a disc was put in. It was working fine with disc that was in it then we changed the disc and it doesn't even register a disc went in. We can't get it out because of this. Our daughter poured a little milk on the top of it too

Never mind…. He's just stupid hahahah
