Television is flashing even with leads removed

I have an Lg 60LB6560 and the whole screen flashing. It still has picture and sound in background. I pulled out both cables one at a time but still flashing. Does that mean it is not the cable?

the flashing most likely comes from a failed LED backlight array. Your model LG seems to have those troubles. Your power supply will only in very rare cases be the reason for this.

@roanne you will have to be a bit of online searching to find the right array. Check on here https://www.shopjimmy.com/lg-6916l-1720a... and call them to see if they are compatible with your TV.

There might just be a problem with the LCD or the power supply. Get those checked, and it might fix your problem!

No, not really, as it would require removal of the cover on the power supply, which could harm you if not handled correctly. I would recommend just taking it to a professional in the area that can check those safely.

Where I have unscrewed around the edge of the tv I can see it flashing in the screw holes if that means anything

That might be the LCD just shining through the edges of the shield over it.
