Is my lcd broken or is the connector loose?
Black bar and lines from lcd screen of the tablet. Took off the digitizer

Not sure what you mean? Did you take off the digitizer of after or before the problem. If it broke right after its possible that you forgot to disconnect the battery which can fry it. Also you might have not put the ribbon back properly. If it was broken before then it must have fell or got hit and that broke it. For all these the digitizer will have to be replaced.

kche1654 explain this a bit more "Took off the digitizer". you also want to brighten up the bottom picture. It is to dark to make out any detail.

Took off the digitizer as in what is shown is just the lcd.

Hi,
Was the screen like this before you started any repairs?
Has the tablet been dropped at all?
Have you inspected the LCD screen flex cable connector and the motherboard connector for any damage or corrosion?
Did you disconnect the battery before disconnecting the screen and digitizer?
