I ordered a new battery from here for the iPod. I replaced it and it worked fine. I then sold the iPod on eBay. The buyer says it won't even last a day on standby. Is it possible I got a bad battery from here?

It’s possible to get a bad battery from anywhere. When ever anythings mass produced defects are going to happen. I wouldn’t rule out your buyer just wants a return though. Just get it back and take a look at it yourself. You can use 3uTools to check the battery health when you get it back but if its not lasting, it’s not lasting.
