How can I turn off a cycle and change to another one

I mistakenly set the washer to Heavy Duty cycle. It needed to be Delicate! I unplugged it, and it continued where it left off!

I couldn’t find my model washer on the list, and there is no “other” selection.

My washer is a GE: Model GTW680BSJ 4WS GE.

It’s a HE Top Loader

You probably did not leave it unplugged long enough to reset.

How to Reset a Maytag Washer

  1. Press the "Power/Cancel" button.
  2. Push the appropriate button to choose a new cycle.
  3. Press "Start/Pause." You have now reset your Maytag washer.
